Description:
Collector grade Winchester 1894 30-30 26"octagon barrel with the three leaf express sight and case colored parts. It was made somewhere around 1901 or 1902. This gun is in very nice, higher end collecting condition. 97% or better. 99% blue on barrel 95% on mag tube only because of carry wear on bottom,turning brown, see picture. There are a few bruises on the wood, with original warn varnish. The Frame is gorgeous.The pictures just do not do this justice.They show the gun as being more black it is not. It is the original Winchester blue. The lever shows about 65% case color along with the hammer. I am not a professional appraiser and I may be a bit high or a bit low but should be right in there. It is very hard to find one this nice. Very Very nice example.I would say the bore is a 9 out of 10. It comes with an old original canvas gun case. This is the very nicest Winchester I have ever owned.
