#14119, Dakin Gun Company, San Francisco: A Grulla Made Spanish Sidelock Ejector in 20 Bore, Made in 1958 as a Model 215 for the Importer Dakin in S. F., It is a 20 Bore Sidelock Ejector game Gun with Hand Detachable Locks Made in 1958, It has 26" Chopper Lump barrels with a hidden third bite at .615 .007 & .015" (Imp.Cyl. & Mod.), Original 2 3/4", Double triggers with the front articulated, Bushed strikers, Beavertail forend, Straight hand stock at 14 1/2 x 1 9/16 x 2 3/8" over the Dakin buttplate, 6 lbs. 5 oz., It has 98% coverage of floral & rose engraving on a satin coin finish frame, A nice piece of wood with good color and contrast, 95-96% barrel blue, 85% original wood finish with handling marks only, The checkering at 90%, The bores are excellent, Gold plated internals, Ivory beads on the rib, A very solid gun with at least 92-95% mechanical life left in it with the barrels excellent inside and out, It remains smack on the face with a lot of bite left and the barrels ring like a chime.
