24" O/U barrels of Bohler Spezial steel with full-length flat matted rib, raised at muzzle for front sight, and raised as a quarter rib towards breech, with 1 standing leaf sight. 14 1/8"pull from front single-set trigger to striated horn buttplate. Lightly figured walnut stock with 3-piece Deeley-release field forend, black pistol grip cap, classic point-pattern checkering Bavarian cheekpiece and sling swivels. Scalloped, bolstered, French-grey receiver engraved with oak leaves and acorns, with double Purdey underbites, double Kersten locks, bushed bottom firing pin, and manual top tang safety. Zeiss Diatal-C 6x32mm scope with fine duplex reticle on engraved fixed mounts fitted directly to quarter-rib dovetails without separate bases.  Built 1955. 99%blue.
