For sale, a very nice bright stainless Taurus Model 689 revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. This Taurus Model 689 has a 6-inch barrel with a vented rib and a full underlug, and the bore is minty and bright with no pits or erosion of the rifling. The bright stainless finish is in excellent overall shape, with only some very minor handling marks. The sideplate screws look perfect and it doesn't appear to have been apart since it left the factory. The original wooden grips have been replaced with some rubber finger groove Hogues. This is a nicely made revolver with adjustable rear target sights and a ramp style front sight with a red insert for better visibility. The action works nicely in single or double action, and it is perfectly "in time" and locks up tight. The smooth and wide target style trigger breaks very cleanly in single action firing and should aid in this revolver's accuracy. If you have been looking for a nice and inexpensive .357 magnum revolver to carry in the field or shoot at the range, this Taurus 689 should be an excellent choice.
