Description:
This is a Steyr Model 95 chambered for 8x56R Hungarian. The 20” blued barrel is in good condition. There is some light freckling in the finish and some roughness throughout bore, but the rifling is intact. The front sight is a fixed post and the rear ladder sight has adjustments for elevation. The blued receiver has no scratches or corrosion, as well as the magazine. The straight-pull bolt is also undamaged aside from some dings on the bolt handle. The original walnut stock has been cut down just past the barrel band. There are several scattered dings and scratches, and a hole has been filled on the bottom of the buttstock. The serial number is marked on the buttstock, as well as the bolt, receiver and barrel. The stock is fitted with a blued buttplate and two sling swivels. Length of pull is 13”, overall length is 40”, and weight is 6.8 lbs. Comes with Lee reloading dies for 8x56R. Our stock number is #A404.
