Description:
Factory Engraved Colt 1860 Army. This Colt also has Factory Ivory grips and is Inscribed on the backstrap. This is the real deal, there is an I.E. near all serial numbers indicating Engraved and Ivory. All serial numbers match: frame, cylinder (very faint), backstrap, wedge, trigger guard, and barrel. I can not make out a number on the cylinder pin, the pin matches the rest of the gun and appears to have been on the gun forever. Ivory grips are well worn and used but all original. Gun functions, but a little rough, Barrel measures 8". The engraving is worn but all of it is still visible. Bore is very good. The inscription on the backstrap is not legible, but with some time and patience, someone might be able to find something out? Although this is not a $25,000 to $30,000 example, it is still a representative piece at a fraction of the price. Please keep in mind, this is a real Engraved Army, not a made up clone.
