Cased Pair of U.S. Historical Society Hamilton-Burr Flintlock Dueling Pistols -Wogdon Marked Hamilton-Burr Dueling Pistol
A total of 1,200 sets were manufactured by Uberti for the United States Historical Society in 1981 based on the original set owned by Chase-Manhattan Bank. The pistols are set in a fitted and lined solid American cherry display
Original Issue price of $3295 (over $13K in todays dollars.Have seen a couple pairs sold recently for over $3500.

Each pistol is 54 Caliber
The top barrel flats are marked "Wogdon LONDON", the right rear flat is marked with the serial number and the lock is marked "Wogdon". Brown barrel, bright hammer, lock, frizzen and flash pan, blue trigger guard and mounted with a checkered nicely figured walnut half stock with a 5 3/4 inch brass forend and bright steel tulip head ramrod. The pair come in a walnut and gold embossed leather case with light blue velvet lining They are unfired, showing only a few marks on the frizzen from strikes by flint.They both have a hidden set trigger-alowing a 7-8oz pull that works.

As they are classifed as antique's by the ATF they can be shipped direct to most States (not NJ or NYC)
