Description:
Winchester 1866 Saddle Ring Carbine. 44 Rimfire. 3rd Model serial number 127,461 manufactured in 1875. 20" barrel with a legible barrel address. Bore is fair. End of magazine tube has been broken off some, still has threads showing. Barrel and magazine tube show a nice brown / gray patina. Action functions nicely, lever droops. Still in 44 Rimfire and has not been converted. Forend shows wear and some cracks, buttstock is not original to gun. Brass receiver is in good condition, tangs are both good. All in all a very reasonable priced 1866 Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine. You won't find one cheaper in this kind of shape. Please feel free to ask questions.
