Very Rare NEW IN BOX Remington 700 VS Stainless with a 26" heavy barrel & in a HS Precision stock and in .17 Rem. center fire caliber. The stock is very pretty, black with lots of grey webbing, and has a full length bedding block. There is very little information on the VS model but what I did find out was this gun was uncatalouged & it was a dealer exclusive with only 250 made in ss. It was made I'm told somewhere between 1997 and 2002. The barrel measures .830 at the muzzle. A very good looking and very unique 700, especially NIB. There is one small mark on the trigger gaurd. It's not a ding or a scratch but looks to be a rub mark, maybe from shipping. I know nothing about this but my buddy says a gunsmith can touch it up so you would never know it was there. I also have many more pictures I can email if needed. I am not a FFL dealer so please make sure your FFL will accept it from me with state picture ID. This firearm as with all firearms, should be checked by a qualified gunsmith before firing. Please make sure this gun is legal to own in your area, county, or state. I will not ship where prohibited. I will not obtain a permit to ship to another state. Shipping by UPS ground to the lower 48 will be $50.00 with full insurance. The weight is heavy & shipping & full insurance is high. If it costs less, I will pay you the difference. I will accept USPS post office money orders or a certified bank cashiers check only. Both will be verified by my bank by phone before shipping.
