This is a real early beauty, actually I don't think it gets any nicer than this byf/42. The early wartime blue is about 99%. There are a few hardly noticeable pin pricks on a couple of edges, some slight sharp edge and muzzle silvering and that's about it. No rust, scratches or rub marks anywhere. The right side of the slide is stamped Eagle/135, Eagle/Swastika, Eagle/135. The left side of the frame is stamped Eagle/135. and the barrel block Eagle/135. All numbers match.
The black plastic grips are, flawless. the grip screw shows no use.
The feed ramp, bolt face and feed ramp show very little use if any.
The bore is mirror bright, razor sharp rifling, with a speck of frost.
The rig includes gun comes with one original magazine stamped P-38 and one soft shell P-38 holster stamped P-38, Eagle/WaA135 and a maker’s code, dkk/44. The condition of which is outstanding. All stitching is intact and the black leather surfaces are smooth with no cracking. Like the rest of the gun it shows very little use. Probably some officer's "Parade Rig". A wonderful find for the critical collector or for behind the firing line......$1495.
