Description:
Unusual 16 gauge side by side, double trigger shotgun. 24inch barrels. They have a partial rib about 9 1/3 inches from the breach. The remaining distance is separated down to where they are joined at the muzzle where the front bead sight is attached. The bores are bright, have about 99% finish and are stamped on the bottom, Jean Breuilm Canonnier, Stetienne. The bores are both open. The box lock action is fully engraved with a coin finish. Inside the action as well as in front of the trigger guard is stamped A.Weber, Paris. Could possibly be a guild gun. The stocks are walnut, oiled finish, checkered, with a 14 1/4 LOP. Checkering is perfect. The buttstock could be an early replacement but of the highest quality work.
