This Springfield EMP, (Enhanced Micro Pistol) 1911 is ideal for back up duty carry, tactical applications and personal protection. This EMP 1911 pistol is beautiful to look at and a joy to hold. The EMP changes what a compact 1911 can be. The action of the EMP is 1/8 inch shorter than that of the original 1911. This translates into several concrete advantages for the shooter. The shorter grip radius produces a more comfortable shooting experience. You have to shoot the EMP to believe how controllable it is. The shorter dimensions also work to increase reliability – something that’s crucial in a concealed carry pistol. With 9+1 rounds of 9mm, the EMP® packs an amazing amount of punch in one of the smallest 1911s ever. The overall dimensions are one of the smallest 1911s on the market. It features Low Profile Combat, 3 - Dot Tritium sights allowing for rapid target acquisition and a custom match grade three hole trigger and is fitted with highly Checkered walnut grips with a nice laser etched Springfield Logo in the center of the grip plate. Chambered in 9MM, this pistol will serve well as a backup duty carry pistol, or in tactical applications and personal protection. It is in excellent condition.
