Description:
Serial #K39051, .303 British, 25” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a BSA-made, 1944 dated rifle has retained about 85-90% of an arsenal-applied phosphate finish with some mild silvering along the exposed edges, at the muzzle, and high points. The matching bolt has streaked gray along the body with some further mild fading on the handle and on the wide safety lug. A CMk. 3, Canadian-made sheet metal adjustable rear sight is fitted and there is a small import stamp on the right side of the barrel at the muzzle. The forend and handguards have a fine re-applied military oil finish with scattered light handling marks and blemishes throughout, including some minor bruising along the forend and buttstock, and a single large bruise on the right side of the buttstock. A single magazine, numbered to a different gun, is included which has a dark Suncorite finish, and a gray-green nylonsling is currently fitted as well. This is a handsome, war-dated Lee-Enfield rifle and rates fine plus condition overall. FFL or C&R
