Description:
This is an early Colt New Service chambered in .44-40 and has the 7 1/2” barrel. This 110 year old gun is in excellent condition with just a few marks, mostly on the barrel as shown in the photo's. The gun is mechanically perfect and locks up tight like any good Colt should. The bore is excellent and the original hard rubber grips are free from cracks. This era Colt New Service has the high luster bluing and fire blued parts including the hammer and trigger. The gun comes with a Colt factory letter showing it was shipped to Seattle, Washington in September of 1907. You would look long and far to find one from this time period that is in better condition. If you like the Colt New Services you will love this one. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly with the gun in a zipper sleeve and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
