Nice Civil War Era J.M. Cooper, 5 shot percussion revolver. Has a 4" Octagon barrel with an excellent bright bore. .31 caliber, Double Action. Action is strong and indexes properly. Serial number is #293 and all numbered parts match. Has an iron backstrap, Blued finish turning to patina except cylinder and barrel retain approx. 65% of i original fire blue. Cylinder has scratches in several places.Wood grips appear to be oil finished and show a few light use marks. The barrel address reads,"MANF D,BY J.M.COOPER&CO.PITTSH.PA.PAT,JAN.7,1851 /REIS,D JULY26, 1859 PAT APR25,1854 PAT SEPT4,1860". Buyer pays $25.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
