Here we present an antique Ottoman Turkish Flintlock Pistol, made circa the 1700s. This pistol certainly served as a status symbol to whoever owned it. This specimen is intricately carved, engraved, inlaid, bejeweled and bedecked. Someone spared no expense for the time of skilled craftsmen to turn this weapon into a work of art.
The overall condition is very good. The piece is very old and the silver has darkened with time. The iron parts have also darkened evenly. The engraving and other markings are clear and visible. The bore is smooth and in very good condition. The action is functional.
