Description:
The High-Standard Model "D" was made from 1938 to 1942, with approximately 2,500 manufactured. The .22 LR Automatic Target Pistols were fitted with either a 4 1/2 or 6 3/4 inch medium weight barrel, adjustable rear sight, checkered walnut grips, slide lock, trigger stop, and came with (1) 10-round magazine. This gun is as described and is fitted with a 6 3/4 inch barrel. It is in excellent condition plus, retaining about 90-95% of its original blue finish, with most wear on the front and back-strap. The checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition, with sharp checkering and no cracks or chips. The bore looks like new and the action functions perfectly. All screw heads are mostly un-molested and the sights are crisp. The pistol is very clean and appears to having been used very little, mostly handled. It comes with its original box (somewhat tattered) and instructions manual. A very nice example of its type, one of my favorite models.
