The finest Spreewerk I have ever had, possibly one of the finest of any P-38 I have had.
The original factory finish is easily 99+ with the slightest edge and muzzle silvering and a few scattered pin pricks and that's it.
The slide is stamped Eagle/88, Eagle/Swastika, Eagle/88. The frame is Eagle/88, and the barrel block Eagle/Swastika. The slide rail, bolt face and feed ramp, like the rest of the gun shows no real use.
The gun is as close to factory new as a WWII gun can be. No rust, rub marks, or scratches anywhere. All numbers match, barrel block, frame and slide.
The front grip strap has not started to gray. The correct brown mottled Bakelite grips are perfect, no chips, splits or scratches.
The barrel is minty and the bore is razor sharp with mirror bright rifling. Not a touch of frost to be see. This gun really someone's "Holster Queen". A real beauty for your gun cabinet and a joy at the firing line......$1095.
