INSCRIBED COLT SINGLE ACTION 1ST GENERATION .45 LC CAL. ARMY REVOLVER CA. 1896 W/ UTAH FACTORY LETTER. Very fine overall with 90% original and traces of case colors with balance turned deep grey. Excellent bore and perfect working order. Original grips in fine condition. Back strap professionally engraved “CHOCTAW”. Letter says ordered by D.L. Westheimen and shipped to Salt Lake Hardware in Salt Lake City, Utah Oct. 12. 1896 originally as a blue 4 ¾” and is now 7 ½” same period factory barrel. Very nice antique serial number shipped out west to Utah. Reasonably priced.
