A deluxe hardback edition of "Colt a Century of Achievement".Published in 1937,this 96 page book tells the complete history of Colt firearms from 1836 through 1936.There are detailed histories of each Colt firearm manufactured during that period.There are also articles about the key people in Colt at the time.You are taken on a photo and written tour of the factory and given descriptions of the key manufacturing precesses.There are ballistic tables and even an article by Col.Charles Askins on how to become an expert shot.This is a great reference book as well as a collectors piece.Many soft cover books were published but very few of the embossed hardback books were done.They were reserved for special customers and other VIPs.This copy is in excellent condition.A must for the serious Colt collector.
