Description:
Nice example of a "Red Jacket No. 4", 5-shot revolver, manufactured by The Lee Arms Co. of Wilkes-Barre, PA..  These guns were manufactured in the 1870's and 1880's.  This 5 shot nickel finished spur trigger revolver is fitted with a 2 3/4" octagon barrel, checkered hard rubber grips, and is chambered in .32 Rim Fire cartridge.  It is in very good original condition, retaining about 80% of its original nickel finish.  The hammer and trigger retain traces of their original color case-hardened finishes.  It has the original checkered hard rubber grips, which are in near excellent condition, with no cracks or chips.  The bore is shootable, with some minor corrosion.  The action, though somewhat loose, functions great, with good timing and decent lock-up.   All screw-heads are unmolested and the cylinder comes out easily.  Neat little gun.  No FFL required, this is a antique gun made before 1899.        PRICE:  $275       We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.   PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual FirearmFirearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.       (sales at am-firearms)
