WORLD WAR 1 OR WWI ERA U.S. ARMY MODEL 1902 OFFICER’S SWORD AND SCABBARD. 38” o/a with 31” blade. Solingen six pointed star trademark on ricasso. Excellent with all the nickel finish on blade and lovely blade etching with NO name yet etched in applied panel. Laurel leaves etched on back of blade as well. Scabbard with no dents. Nickel finish to exterior of scabbard and hilt just beginning to succomb to oxidation as is typical with this age nickel plating but will clean to excellent. Fine early reddish color composition grip. May be pre WW1. Superior example of fine quality. Perfectly straight.
