Gewer. Model 98. WWI Bolt action rifle. Cal 8mm. 29" barrel with a bright bore
and strong rifling with some very light pitting. Bridge is stamped "ERFURT" 1916
with crown mark on top. Rollercoaster type rear sight, blade type ramped front.
Walnut stocks are in excellent condition. Gun retains 95 % professional upgrade
blue finish. Receiver, and bolt are in the white. Every part on this rifle is matching.
Including bolt, bolt release, bolt handle, receiver, front and rear barrel bands, rear
sight, barrel, safety, buttplate, floorplate and floorplate screws. Mechanically
excellent. This is a wonderful all matching numbers WWI 98. Serial # 2417.
