Sold with Item 5543510.This is a hard to find Marlin Brace of One Thousand Commemorative set made in 1970. Both carbines are new in the factory case. These are sharp looking guns and have never been offered for sale. Both firearms are new from a dealer and have been in long-term storage since being shipped in 1979. The set consists of a Model 336 Presentation and a Model 39 Presentation in .30-30 Win and .22 S, L, LR respectively. Both guns were nicely engrave by Master Engravers Robert Kain and Winston Churchill. The foam liner of the case has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. We acquired several of these sets and the deterioration is common to all of them and there is no remedy for it. We are leaving the foam in the case and will ship the guns separately in appropriate packaging. The guns actually look pretty good considering, and little more cleaning may improve them as well.
