Description:
This is a first year production gun (1871), serial number 1400. It has a 4 inch barrel with ejector, german silver front sight and approximately 92 to 95% original blue and silver finish. It is exceptional and certainly one of the finest known. These "Old Line" Open Top .22's were quickly replaced by the "New Line" updated models with stronger top strap frames, and few have survived with the high hammer and barrel mounted ejector. We garantee the authenticity and condition of this rare revolver, and will gladly answer any questions concerning it. Because of the fine and delicate silver finish, however, we will not allow a return after it has been sold, since we have no control over how it is handled in the interim.
