SOLDsn9554 lettered to Ft Davis, Panama Canal Zone 1940. I believe this where Ace was converted to .45acp using parts the government bought from Colt. My pictures show old dried grease and smudging from my handling. Frame remains in excellent blue....early parkerized hammer is still in place from military conversion.
