Description:
Serial #3614f, 9mm, 4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an early “S/42” coded pistol with “G” chamber date code (1935) and all-matching numbers that has 92-95% of the original blue finish remaining with some silvering and along the projecting edges, and mild fading at the muzzle and on the bearing surfaces of the toggle and bolt. Some further traces of mild freckling are present on the grip straps and much of the original straw color still remains on the take-down lever, trigger, magazine release, ejector, and safety. The checkered wooden grips are also numbered to the gun and have some light wear throughout with mild flattening of the points on either side, mainly around the butt. A single, matching numbered, aluminum base magazine is included and the pistol is housed in a very good, 1939 dated, Waffenamt proofed dark brown holster with properly marked take-down tool. This is a splendid G-date luger that rates excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
