Description:
Overall length is about 40 1/2". The barrel is 24 3/4". Muzzle measures 2". Action is very tight and smooth. The bayonet release works perfectly and is tight as well. Spring is very strong too. You will find Birmingham proofs on the barrel. Those are the only markings I found. Wood is excellent and does not show much use. Ramrod looks to be original. It has not been cleaned. Finish was in the white. According to the features, I would guess manufacture from around 1765 to 1805. American Arms & Antiques item #1739,
