Research indicates that the Johann Springer Company produced luxury, high end rifles. The Henzoldt Wetzlar scope on this rifle also says "Joh. Springer" - which indicates that Henzoldt contracted with them to produce scopes. Believe this rifle is from 1930 - 1940. NIce satin finish on stock. Claw mounts - scope is 5X Henzoldt.
