Here is a nice Winchester Model 71 .348 cal. carbine RARE with long tang and bolt peep. All factory original. This gun is a early four digit serial number gun that has a history of killing Monsterous White Tail Bucks . Grand Pa would never take anything less then an 8 point and many were 10's and a few 12's. We sure wish this gun could talk for it would have many stories of the good ole days. This gun is used but is nice condition for its age.There are kill marks on the stock where Grand Pa carefully marked his kill. The underside shows some bluing wear from usage, the wood has some indentations as well but overall a very nice solid rare Winchester 71 Carbine. No cracks in the wood , The bore is excellent. All metal original. Will gladly take extra pictures and answer any questions you may have.
