We offer free Shipping for orders over $500. Description: Serial #23971, 12 Ga. (2 3/4”), 31 3/4” VR barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome and well-made trap gun, built by Gamba in 1964 for Abercrombie & Fitch. The gun features a finely engraved receiver, wide beaver tail forend, and a checkered pistol grip stock. The gun retains about 92-95% blue on the barrel with a commensurate amount of original color case-hardening on the frame. The walnut forend and buttstock have some small handling marks and surface blemishes scattered about the original varnish, but these are very minor. The gun has a 14 3/8” LOP to a White Line recoil pad, and has drops of 1 3/8” and 2”. Additionally, the gun is accompanied by a Griffin & Howe historical letter including facsimile copies of the original A&F records ledger on which the gun is listed. FFL or C&R.
