Description:
NSN, .61 Caliber, 5 7/8" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a few very minor spots of freckling near the breech. This is an 1839 dated pistol that has mild freckling along the barrel and lock, as well as some mild pinprick pitting around the nipple and bolster. The brass furniture has an overall yellow-ochre patina with numerous small handling marks and scratches, while the integral iron belt hook and captive ramrod have a slightly mottled gray-black patina throughout. The walnut stock has small handling marks and blemishes scattered throughout, but is otherwise in fine shape. The action is crisp and tight, and the pistol rates fine condition overall. Antique
