Description:
Serial #3T3541, 9mm, 4 11/16" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a nice, British military marked, fixed rear sight variant pistol that has matching numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel. The metal retains 80-85% of the original dark gray phosphate finish that has faded and silvered, most noticeably at the muzzle, on the left side of the slide, along the gripstraps (which still has remnants of the Canadian Military Aid Board decal on the front), as well as along the raised edges and projections, and forward portion of the frame. Additionally, there is an unobtrusive import stamp on the butt at the edge of the magazine well. The checkered black resin grips are in fine shape having only minor flattening of the points and just a few very small handling marks and blemishes along the edges of both panels. The pistol comes with a single original “JI" marked Inglis magazine, and is a fine plus example of a World War II Inglis pistol overall. FFL or C&R
