Description:
Very good example of a WW2 1911A1 produced in 1943. Pistol is without question one hundred percent original/correct to include the parkerized finish. Bore is very good with no pitting or corrosion. Extremely accurate with outstanding mechanical function. No patina present under bright light.
All proof and ordnance markings are correct and serial number matches on both receiver and under firing pin plate. There is some minor pitting on the top right side of the slide on the sharp edge from the ejection port to the nose and on the lower nose of the slide left and right. No finish in the small pits. The price reflects the slight cosmetic imperfections but still a beautiful example. Serial number is somewhat unique, 933933.
