The Remington 700 VTR has been called by some "urban sniper rifle". It's described as both a tactical and varmint rifle. Actual customer reviews are favorable as to its accuracy and the "crisp trigger".
Years of Reseach and Development resulted in the triangular barrel contour with optimal twist rates.. The integral muzzle brake decreases recoil and muzzle jump. Vented forend assists with rapid cooling and the dual swivel studs allow for use of a BiPod and sling. Mag capacity on .308 win. is 4 rounds for a 4 + 1 total capacity.
This specific rifle is As New Condition - no box.. The bolt face is clean - has no burn/ring marks. No evidence of a scope ever being mounted.
