Description:
.30 cal. carbine, Inland mfg. in the 6747xxx serial range. Adjustable rear sight, low wood, with bayonet lug. It remains as new in the original grease and packing wrapper. It was purchased by Lt. Sebastian Hafer, 14 Feb. 1946 and has the accompanying paper work. In it's original shipping crate addressed from the A.P.O. San Francisco to Lt. Hafer's address in Gettysburg, Pa. where it has remained untouched for 71 years.
