(Eugene) Koevenig, 23" Barrel, No open sights, 1" Talley detachable scope rings that are case hardened, Barrel band swivel; Case Colored action body, lever, trigger guard, 1/4 rib, grip cap, Skeleton grip cap, Skeleton buttplate, Top tang safety & scope rings, Mounted with a Leupold 2.5 x 8 with a Duplex crosshair on the 1/4 rib, 75% of very well cut scroll engraving by E. Koevenig and signed accordingly, Gold line inlay at the barrel breech and the muzzle, 13 3/4" LOP over a skeleton buttplate with complete checkered inset, 7 lbs. 12 oz. with the scope, An excellent piece of English Walnut with excellent color and contrast, The forend matches perfectly in color and contrast, Fleur-De-Lis checkering, Skeleton grip cap with checkered wood, Double screw tiedown rear sling eye, This piece is new and unfired, The factory satin blue remains at 100%, The case colors are 100%, The stock is 99.8%, The checkering is 100%, The bore is as the day it left the factory. This is buying a Dakota Deluxe as new from the day it was finished in Sturgis, S.D. //////////////////////////////////// Mr. Eugene Koevenig was both a gunsmith and gun engraver and lived in Hill City, S. D. He was a graduate from the Thacker Engraving Academy and attended the Cummings Fine Arts Institute in Iowa. His cut and execution is very accurate and tastefully done.
