Description:
Very rare SKB model 5000 sporter.Built originaly for the European market,these guns are much finer built and finished than the typical SKB.This gun has hand engraved sideplates,a removable mechanical trigger,ejectors,a Greener style crossbolt,a flat sporting rib,ventilated side ribs,outstanding dark oil finished wood,and hand cut checkering.It has 30" barrels with SKB chokes.Only about 50 of these guns were brought into this country so you seldom see one.This gun has British proof marks from the Birmingham proof house.The person I got it from bought it from the original buyer who imported it.The gun is in mint condition retaining 99% of the original finish.This would make a great sporting clays,trap,or live pigeon gun.Equal in quality to a Perazzi or Kreighoff at 1/3 the cost.Cased in a Browning luggage case.
