SOLD PENDING FUNDS: This is a WWI DWM Luger 1914 manufacture 9 mm pistol. It was reworked for the Police after the war. It is all matching including one magazine and the grips. The extra magazine is a later addition with a different number. The rig consists of the Luger, extra magazine and Police holster. The holster was fabricated by A. Fischer of Berlin in 1932 and has the star burst "L" Police stamp on the back of the holster. It is not number matching to the Luger(4352) where the Luger is (5153). The holster is in very good condition with no repairs and all the leather and stitching intact. The soldier who brought this back scratched his name on the back (Tingha) (see pictures). The Luger is in excellent condition with a 95% rating on the bluing as well as the strawed parts. The mechanics and bore are excellent. This pistol still has the "sear safety" in place which is rarely found as most Police removed them. This is an excellent WWI/Police Luger rig that is all matching except where noted (holster and extra magazine). A great example of an iconic firearm.
