Description:
Own a piece of history at an affordable price. This old gun is shootable as is but would look really look good with just a little love. The buttstock is free of any cracks and has only minor dents and dings. The forend is dented and dinged but not refinished at all. There is one sliver of wood about 2 inches long that starts at the reciever and feathers out along the barrel that is missing. I took a picture of the area so it would be easily visible but if you dont notice its on the right side of frame. Metal fit to wood is very tight and Im sure this gun has not been taken apart. There is minor pitting in small areas on the frame and barrel. The bore is frosted and slightly dark but has prominent rifling and would probably clean up very nice. There is a nice even brown patina to the metal surfaces and is obviously original. It appears that there was at one point a pop up sight of some type on the gun because there is an unusual screw in the tang and maybe an extra hole. The barrel is a number 2 which would have been common for the smaller calibers. If your interested please call Ed at (916)652-4867 Telephones are the best way to reach me!
