8600 serial range. One number away from an identified martially marked Henry in Wiley Swords book. Original wood shows a fair amount of use but there is still evidence of a "Henry bump". Correct brass buttplate. Bbl has turned a plum/brown with some signs of cleaning. Minor pitting. Some roundness to the corner but VG markings. Correct sights. Receiver has lots of character with dings and mars. Henry stamp on the lower tang. Nice functioning action. Correct folding ladder rear sight. Original sling swivels. Hammer and lever show a fair amount of pitting and were cleaned at one time. Not a bad Henry. Well worth the money.
