The .25-35 Winchester can be fired in the Marlin however, the .25-36 Marlin has a slightly longer neck than the Winchester and should never be fired in a Winchester rifle.The .25-36 Marlin has not been loaded in this country since around the early 1930s.

Metal Condition: Little original finish remains with plum brown patina and light surface pitting throughout
Wood Condition: Stock has been refinished and a small repair shows at the top tang. Old gouges at the fore end and a crack from the tip shows on the right side
Bore Condition: Is a bit dark and the rifling, though quite prevalent, looks less than sharp at the lands and grooves
