NEAR MINT COLT COMMERCIAL MODEL 1911 SEMI-AUTO .45ACP PISTOL WITH FACTORY LETTER, CA. 1917. Almost new with 99% plus original commercial blue finish. Perfect markings. Not refinished and all authentic, matching and the right parts and screws. Shows only the slightest evidence of use. Brilliant bore and very tight working order. Excellent original walnut grips in excellent condition with little sign of use. Original magazine with case hardened top and lanyard ring stud. Superior example. Factory letter states shipped AS IS to Folsom Arms Co. May 22, 1917 in a one of 25 shipment. Pretty much looks the same as this date. Prime example.
