Merwin & Hulbert 4th Model .44-40 caliber revolver. Bore is good plus with with very good strong rifling. Action works perfectly. Gun has old pearl grips with some chips at the heel and bottom of butt. Gun has some traces of original nickel. Overall it shows wear commensurate with regular use by it owner. Colorful old west revolver. Merwin & Hulbert guns were one of Colts’ competitors in the western market.
