Pre-Owned Colt-Sauer Sporting Rifle 7mm Rem Mag, Sporting Rifle w/ Redfield Scope
The Colt Sauler Sporting Rifle is reliable, accurate and beautiful. That is why hunters have taken the Colt Sauer From Tennessee to Africa, from the Appalachians to Alaska. Every feature is engineered to improve the performance of even the finest marksman. For greater ease and speed of operation, the unique Colt Sauer bolt locks up without rotating. Three internally-cammed locking lugs make this possible. And the single stack box magazine fees each round precisely. Together these features set the Colt Sauer apart from any other rifle in the world. The Colt Sauer Sprting Rifle features an American walnut stock, 18-line checkering, Rosewood forend and the famous Colt blue. Sauer produced this rifle for Colt and manufactured approximately 27000 of these rifles from 1973 to 1984.
About this lising: This is a very lightly hunted rifle and bares a serial number in the 1st half of the production run. The owner is a local businessman who hunted only a few times with this rifle and it has remained well cared for in storage for many years. The wood is in outstanding condition with minimal handling marks. The bluing of the barrel is well preserved with the exception of wear around the muzzle which appears to be from sliding it into and out of a soft case. The original Redfield 3x9 unique Widefield scope remains clear and also has minimal handling marks. The owner was unable to locate the original paperwork however we do have a pdf copy of an owners manual which will be included.
