Description:
This is a Colt Woodsman Sport with the 4 1/2” barrel and adjustable front sight. While the Woodsman Sport Model was introduced in 1933, the seldom encountered adjustable front sight model was not introduced until 1937. The vast majority of Woodsman Sports had the fixed or non-adjustable front sight. These adjustable sight Sport models are seldom encountered and especially with the box and paperwork. This one dates to 1940 and remains in excellent condition with a few spots of wear as noted in the photo’s. I would rate the gun at 95-96%. This gun is designed for High Velocity ammunition. The gun is mechanically perfect and the bore is excellent. The factory original checkered walnut grips are free from cracks and remain in crisp shape. The gun includes the original magazine. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
