Colt Match Target AR 15 Space Gun
For the hard core long range competitor please find this offering. From the estate of a late target shooter we offer this AR 15 competitive rifle. The lower is a Colt Match Target Match H-BAR bearing serial # CMH021691. This lower has been fitted with a buttstock with an adjustable butt plate and ambidextrous bolt release. A very nice feature to have when trussed up in shooting jacket etc. The trigger breaks clean with no take up at 4.5 lbs. The magazine well shows no wear from use. The 28 inch stainless barrel is by Krieger 1/ 8.2 inch twist with W.J Wylde chamber. The bore and chamber are perfect and free of any defects. In fact, this rifle has several components or parts with the Wylde stamping on them. The rifle will ship with everything you see depicted. The front sight is a True Zero by H&H Enterprises. The rear base is again marked W.J Wylde and has weaver bases atop it. The upper has had the dust cover removed and the rails within it show little to no wear. The same holds true for the charging handle and the bolt and firing pin retainer etc. It almost appears the rifle was assembled and then maybe test fired, then moth balled. This fits the daughter’s narrative of her father’s propensity to collect and hold firearms essentially unfired after she ceased to shoot competitively. This rifle weighs just over 11 ¾ lbs. I will not modify this rifle for import into California or other states where it is prohibited.
