Description:
Up for sale today is a US Springfield M1 Garand serial no. 3674124 chambered in caliber .30-06. This outstanding rifle was built in March of 1945 and is a correct late-war WWII Garand. The rifle shows excellent original finish on both wood and metal. The rifle has a barrel date of “SA 2-45,” a throat erosion reading of 2 and a muzzle wear reading of 0.5. The bore is outstanding. The rifle comes with an excellent Boyt 44-dated USGI leather sling, and shows early features such as the lock-bar rear sight and the correct “NFR” cartouche on the stock. An excellent WWII-era Garand and a great addition to any collection.
