This rifle is serial numbered consecutively with Guns International #: 100448153
Springfield Armory US M2 22lr ... 24" barrell ... LOP 13 1/8" over 1/8" plate ... 43 3/4" LOA ... DAC 1 1/2" ... DAH 3" ... 9lbs 2oz empty weight.
The Springfield Armory 24" barrel is dated 7-32 with a bright excellent bore.
The metal surfaces retain about 97% excellent quality dark gray parkerizing, the bottom metal fading slightly with sharp edge wear.
The bolt is matching numbered to the gun and is mostly bright overall with a nice polish on the handle, it is not equipped with an adjustable headspace lug.
The shroud and safety show nice dark gray oil quenched case-hardening. The issue-style pistolgrip stock rates very good plus to excellent as lightly cleaned, now somewhat lighter in hue but showing some very nice grain. There are remnants of older minor handling marks still present and a small 1/2" crack at the rear of the tang.
There is a nice stamped sheet metal protector covering the front sight and an appropriate Lyman 48 sight is in place on the rear receiver ring. A single M2 magazine is included and the rifle rates about excellent overall.
