Description:
Remington. Model 1902 Military breech loading single shot rifle. Cal. 7x57mm. 30" barrel with a excellent bore. The model 1902 is identical to the model 1897 but fitted with an automatic ejector. These rifles were made from 1887 to 1902 being made for only one year. Features full length walnut forend with short walnut upper hand guard, military sight, two barrel bands, cleaning rod and bayonet lug, two sling swivels and standard Rolling Block action. Frame is basically a grey patina. . Barrel retains 90% original blue finish and is stamped "CAL. 7MM". Wood is excellent with a few usual dings. Action is perfect. Both barrel bands are stamped "U". This gun has not been fired much. Sell 975.00. **********
